Hi, I have been waiting for prices to come down for a good used Gen 3/4, but it ain't happening.
Thinking of biting the bullet and updating the 360 instead. I did a compression test and all are with 8-psi around 118psi. It runs a little kinday OK, but little lumpy at idle.
I am wondering what to replace.
Injectors. It had a new pump about 9-months back, so pressure is good.
New Coil, cap, rotor and leads.
Valve cover gaskets.
O2 sensors
Hoses
Water pump and little hose.
It had a rebult ECM about 2-years back, a Crankshaft Position Sensor and Oil Pressure sender. {grin} I broke that with a slipped wrench!!
What other parts should I consider? I am not after more performance, just bring it back towards like-new running.
