4.56 are perfect for my 35's. 70 mph = 2100 rpms

yes they are being broke in properly or as close as i can to a proper breakin procedure im at 300+ miles into it....

Jay-Son, Just to let you know, mine are gettin done on 4 Jan 11, and I was told the Breakin period will be only 500 KM (300 Miles) of takin it easy, with no need to drop the Oil to have a look at that time, only at the Next Normal Fluid Change Interval. The 100% warranty will be 12 Months with Unlimited Mileage. So IMO you should be ready to let her Rip (EDIT: See Next Post I'm out to Lunch on my Dates here).

Gear Job Postponed by One Day! Weds of next week vice Tues! (My severence cheque is stuck in the Mail (been 10 business days)) so all goes well I'll be 4.56'd by next Fri!

Dropped the Truck off tonight at the Gear Center! Took some Pics of the new Parts that arrived including the Auburn Unit and discussed a few things with the owner and provided some other new parts incl. that painted OEM cover i showed on another Post.??

Might have her back by end of play Thurs!.

break-ins are overrated only kidding of course. but seriously, i couldnt help but romp on it once or twice out of the shop just to get the feel. then i was easy on it the rest of the break in.

It is the most awesome feeling to have been able to get this done! Of all the Mods I've done this is the one that is prolly the Best (and most $$).

The Truck actually seems to run smoother down the road and there is no LABOURING. Tommorrow I will go on another romp to town and will up the RPM slightly to 3K on the HWY. At 60 MPH when I turn off the OD the RPM goes from 2k to 2700 and I like it. The roads are a bit wet and with slight throttle it's on the edge of slipping. I actually believe its gonna slip good when i hammer it on a normal rolling turn onto a dry street. Can't wait till I got the 500KM done as it says on the Bill "No Towing or Hot Rodding" for first 500. At 501 I gonna do a burn-out. Next Project is to complete the B&M Shifter Mod...ETA...Next 30 Days.

according to his December post the break in period was 300 miles or 500KM....

400-500 additional Kilometers after the 3 cool down cycles , before Towing (Hot Rodding) for warranry to be Valid on the "Quality Gear Sets" as per the instructions.

Thats OK Man, I was always under the Impression it was 500 MILES from all the discussion threads I had read on all the Forums. These Guys are real Pros and are not called the "Gear Center" with 8 Locations in the Province (State) for nothing. I am Pleased its only 500K cause as of today I got 225 Done and 275 to go so by the end of next week I can really let her rip!
