Well, I’m concerned. Guess I didn’t do enough research before pulling the trigger on a 2024 Rebel. I keep reading tons of reviews complaining about the etorque on the 5.7 hemi. Anyone got any positives regarding this engine?

I can't speak for anyone but me, but my '22 hasn't had any issues. Then again, I've only got around 6,800 miles on it.

I love it.

there's video footage of etorques stalling while driving posing dangerous situations.
I'd try to opt out of it and stay with standard non etorque V8 but after 2022, they are all etorque.

2021 ETorque. 60K miles No problems.

Virtually every time I start the engine, I turn off the Auto Stop Start. <<< Irritating feature.
- From a full stop, the slight pause on start up, IMO, unsafe, when I am crossing highways or merging...

ETorque does more than the Auto Stop Start feature. Don't care about any of it.

Like issue with my 2022 Grand Cherokee L. Great vehicle. 26K miles.

- No ETorque, but I turn off the Auto Stop Start feature every time I start the engine. Irritating.
