I'm in the process of shopping for wheels and tires, came across an awesome deal that woke save me a good chunk of change, but I will need to get the 5 lug to 8 lug adapters, has anyone used these or know of anyone who has used them? I'm questioning the reliability and safety of them before I spend $150 a pair.

Also, since the 1500s need wheel spacers to prevent rubbing in the front, is there enough room for spacers AND adapters?

THANKS

What is the exact lug pattern on the second gen 1500's

Unless you are getting them for free and they are brand new you're probably not saving much going that route

Also if you do go that route, why wouldn't the adapters be able to act as spacers? You will not run into issues until you get to 35" tires. How big do you plan to go?
Good luck with your project,

Personally I do not believe spacers/adapters should be used on these trucks. 1500 front ends are just to weak. DO NOT stack a spacer and adapter you're just asking for safety issues doing that.

The lug pattern on 1500's has always been 5x5.5 IIRC. What are you trying to accomplish on your truck? What are you trying to run tire wise?
