524.60 miles
27.90 gallons
18.80 mpg - hand calculated.
3.73 gears, 87 octane with ethanol
Mild hypermiling...keeping my speed at or below 60, timing green lights to minimize stopping, running the hills properly. Trying to minimize "show of horsepower". EVIC always shows high compared to hand-calculated.

How many miles on these trucks? My EVIC shows 13.6 for the duration I've had truck, which is 1600 miles. 400 is towing heavy. A little disappointed, but I'm guessing it'll improve.

I don't drive it on weekdays, so my fuelly hardly ever gets an update.

I don't know about you guys, but I did not buy this truck to drive it light to get a couple extra mpg. This truck is too much fun to drive, so i consider the extra fuel just a "fun tax" :roflsquared:

I don't even look at my mpg screen, lol

I'm at 3370 miles and the best I have ever gotten was 12.7mpg.
I have 4:10 gears and I am not pawpawing it.
I think overall I'm averaging 11mpg.
I'm usually 80% city driving
Good thing is my work pays for all my gas, even personal do I really don't care.

Well I milked the MDS as much as I could. Stayed 5-10 under the speed limit (55 mph in the 65 on the rural roads, 60 mph in the 65 on the main commuter roads). Let the automatic shift no higher than 2200 rpm. Half the tank on dry roads, the other half in wet rainy weather. Installed an MDS ON LED on the side of the Scangauge, BUT it's not connected yet. I have pictures of all my fill ups on this thread, so I can prove these. This morning was a bit dark so the pic is hard to read. This truck is completely stock. Tires are at 80 psi where the dealer left them.

Last tank 19.558 mpg (best tank), 3.73 gears
Running average: 18.1 mpg
Worst tank: 17.12 mpg

I can tell you that I don't drive like the other 99% of the folks out there. If I didn't have to buy my own gas, then I'd probably be having fun with it and be getting around 13-14 mpg, maybe. But MDS and a reasonable right foot is the way to go for MPGs.

No, I didn't buy this for the fuel mileage! (seriously, a 6.4 Hemi for MPG?) It was bought to haul hay and the horse trailer. I have a 1.0L Chevy Metro (50-70 mpg) that I had been using for the work commute. It doesn't have A/C so I am selling it after 9 years of owning it. I am fine with my replacement DD which is a 96 Bronco 302, 5 speed manual - installing a 4" lift, 2" BL and 35s this weekend.

just got the best mileage I've ever got with my truck on a highway trip back from Red Deer Alberta to Edmonton Alberta.

Best MPG: 17.7 mpg hand calculated, it was hot out (30+ Celcius) and I was doing 115-120kmph (70-75mph), conditions probably couldn't have been better

Running average: 12.9 mpg, has been steadily increasing since I bought the truck in march, and with all the modifications

Worst tank: 11.0 mpg road trip to Saskatchewan Easter weekend in a snow storm with a head wind

all tanks since middle of start of july have been on 91 with the 91 diablo tune.....soon to be hemifever'd

this summer the truck has been averaging 14.1mpg, the truck seems to really love the heat in this sense, so much so that I'm going to make a hot air scoop for the air box for long road trips where i'm not concerned about the small power loss

all tanks have been calculated by filling to the first click them giving it two more pumps which immediately click to verify the tank is up to level.
how do others fill their tanks?

Looking at purchasing a 2014 2500 CC 6.4 w/3.73 gears. Is the mpg you guys are recording Imperial or US?

I really don't see how yall are getting that great of mileage. I'm not saying I don't believe yall, it's just mine doesn't get near that good. First off mine is a 2500 Mega Cab 6.4 Hemi 4X4 4:10 gears with Ram Boxes.
I'm just shy of 4000 miles on the ticker.
My overall rolling average is 10.8 mpg.
I wouldn't say I have a Hemi foot either. I just drive normal. I haven't really pulled that much at all.
I'm by no means disappointed with the truck, it's great.
I just don't see how you guys are getting that good of mpg.
I will say this, I'm mostly city driving as well. Live in south east Texas so pretty much sea level. Ram boxes are full of gear so thst sc a little weight. I brought to scales and she weighed 8100 ish without me in it.
Company I work for pays for all my fuel so I'm not complaining. I'm just stating my experience.

""What size tires are on those 18's"" "Measure them with a tape I. E 31's/32's?? ""??? All i can say is .. maybe the fuel you're using isn't so good? i just started my fuelly account, ill refuel on Saturday and have a clear understanding of where i am at.. Hand calculated im sitting 13's.. i run 87 chevron/shell ... i drive in the mountains.. up and down never flat lol.. you should easily be over 15mpg in Texas.. you need to drop in a good air filter and a cat back exhaust.... once i can get this bad boi on a dyno and dyno tune it with cai/exhaust ill bet she gets 19-22 all day.. also the slower u drive " like 55-65" on a hwy.. you jump dramatically in mpg.. i just cant set my cruise any slower than 74 for more than 10 minutes lol...

A Cummins could get those numbers. But there is no way you are going to get that mileage consistently with a HD truck and a gas motor. A intake exhaust and tuner might net you 1 or 2 miles per gallon, not 5 or 6.
