8hp70 shifting issues

2016 ram 1500 with 8hp70 trans

Transmission shifts perfect when speeding up fast. But, when cruising it will randomly downshift to about 4th or 5th gear then go back to 8th.
When going slow it will shift out of gear, I then have to put in neutral then back to drive to keep it going.

Started after I realized my pan wasn't torqued down correctly and had a small leak and it wouldn't go into reverse. Turned it off then back on and it went into reverse. Topped off fluid and now random downshifts.

Any ideas what the problem is ?

Did you follow the fill procedure? It's not as simple as just filling the transmission.

Yes. I made sure it was level and in between 85 and 122 degrees temp.

Found the issue. Was a corrupted engine tune. Tried only removing custom trans tune at 1st.
