A/C Question..

Does everyone else's A/C turn on to the feet first for 10-15 seconds, then move to the upper vents?

I HATE this. Curious if its by design, or if mine is funky..

Yeah mine does some funky things too like goes to defrost then to vent or feet then defrost all depends on where the knob is at when I start it.

Maybe it stops warm air from blowing in your face? Mine does it too

Same with mine. When you shut the truck off, if you listen close you can hear it move back to the feet position...

It's probably a combination of keeping hot air from hitting your face and the vacuum system actuation to change vent positions.

That is wierd! I will have to pay attention to mine next time I start her up. I'm usually in boots so I've never noticed if it did this or not.
