I've had a pretty wicked migraine for going on 48 hours now and after I was done filling up I realized I put 91 in by mistake... Outside of the $80 it cost me, no harm right?

No worries at all , if you want 89 sooner than later just top it off with 87 at the 1/2 tank mark [emoji1303]

91 is all I use after I decided you can't really trust the 87 and 91 mix to create 89...

The key, though, is "a" doughnut.:D On the 91 octane: I have found that it does not get stale anywhere near as fast as the regular grade. Under normal circumstances, I drive around 400 miles per month or maybe a little more. The truck performs better, the mileage is better, but it's also just good practice for me to use the 91. I discovered the issue of not getting stale from using it for all my small engine equipment years ago.

I use shell V- power 93 octane. Have for over 20,000 miles. Your truck will adjust for it.

I typically use just over 1/2 tank every week so I fill up on weekends. I have been alternating between 87 & 93 every other week since 87 is 2.69 / gal & 93 is about 3.00 on 7cents off Sunday here so I'm getting 90 octane for 2.85 vs them charging 2.95 for 89 octane.

Running Ethanol Free 87 gas; the big 6.4 seems to like it. I usually run the 93 but the Ethanol Free gas has moved into Georgia.

92 octane was all I used in my 6.4L especially after installing the Hemifever custom tune.
