Aftermarket A pillars with tweeter pods?

I cannot for the life of me find anyone that makes any? I really don't want to custom modify mine and I'm not fully sold on where to place the front tweeters.

I'm gonna put mine on the black triangle part on the top of the door. Just in-case I get rid of the truck, I can remove them and just buy a new replacement triangle instead of leaving my Focal's in the truck or buying a new A piller.
Just a thought...

The best place to put tweets in these trucks are the sail panel. Easy to remove, low cost to replace if you sell the truck.

Agreed. Sails are the best spot, and sound a lot better than in the dash. My rockford T2652-S component tweeters came with a flush mount, and external 45 degree mount so they are angled towards you. I chose the 45 degree angled mount.

A member made his own a couple years ago. His name is bradknob. Search for his build thread its awesome. I wish I had half his skills. He doesnt have the ram anymore so he isnt around

Im liking the Sail Panel option. Hopefully they provide a 45 degree angle mount....not sure what size these are to be honest.

They don't show an angle mount with this set. Either flush or top mounted.

Found these tweeter pods on ebay that might work for you giys that do not have angled tweeter mounts. These do not come with tweeters, just the mounts.

Maybe you'll get lucky and a member putting his truck back to stock will sell you a set after the replace them for resale. They're small and light so cheap to ship and not worth much once there's a hole in them. I thought eestee70 pulled his audio to sell his truck recently.

One note, a lot of tweeters will sound great slightly off axis. This means that having them aimed at the opposite seat (basically a flat install) will give good results.

Yea the came with 2 mounts, flat and angled. Love the placement and sound.

How are these tweeters wired? Is there existing wiring already in the doors or A pillars or do you need to run new ones? If so, how does that connect to the radio?

You see that passive crossover mounted in the door splitting mid and high frequency? Take a look and follow sp. wire from it.

Why would you want 3 on each side? That sounds horrible.

You could custom fiberglass a 3 tweeter pillar mount similar to the Guage pods the diesel guys use, but as tomt said it would sound bad. Especially having them all pointed directly at you so close.
