Have you tried the procedure with the key in (ACC) one click instead of two. Some have had success with that also.

Ok. Two things I would try. 1.Send a debug file to AlfaOBD or email em with your problem. (I'm pretty sure the statement you will get back is your tablet is too slow to make the change)
Try a different Android device or buy the windows version of AlfaOBD.

Or just keep trying, it just might go through one day. [emoji5]

Installed the premium cluster in my 2014 Ram 1500 tradesman today. Flawless. Programmed hours and mileage easily. The cluster was previously set to Spanish. Fixed that too along with programming in my vin.

What do you mean programming in your Vin? What did your program your vin into and what did it do?

No idea. I know my model year wanted 17 digits. No idea if 2018 is the same. I was also doing mine through the instrument cluster not body control.

Programmed into my instrument cluster since it probably had the donor vehicle’s in it.

I’m not sure why there’s a need to write the VIN to the cluster. My swapped in cluster just picked up my VIN automatically. When I read the cluster system ID, it shows my truck’s VIN as being the current and original.

No. The aftermarket remote start is separate from any oem remote start
