Had mine installed 10 minutes ago. Whole job took less than 40 minutes minus the alignment which will have to be monday. Super Easy if you have a good spring compressor and air tools.
Your truck must be new. I had to cut my old shocks out because the lower shock bolt was seized so bad. Had to replace the bushings too...

2014 with 30k. I used all the tips and tricks to make it all happen from this thread. Spent hours on youtube and here to make sure I was set to go. Had a huge spring compressor that uses air as well so it was a snap. I didnt even try the strut nut with out channel locks on the piston. I wasted no time on any part. I likely had over 20 hours in videos and this thread alone just in prep time.

Like I said I was 100% prepared to get this done in one take.

I was the same. Watched tons of videos and such. Mine in a 2010 and I'm in Canada where they salt the roads. Everything was seized. Ended up replacing upper ball joints and the bushing that the lower shock bolt goes through. Had to use a ball joint press to do that. Still got it done in a day though. Was a lot more work than I anticipated...

One thing about Florida cars and trucks, our cars usually do not rot.

Just installed today set at 2.8, rear is stock with Firestone air springs kept at 10psi without a load. Tires 33" Cooper A/T W.

Nobody in my area buys Bils, everyone seems to use spacers to level so finding an installer who didn't give me a blank stupid look to do them was a bit of a hassle [emoji52]

Just ordered my Bilsteins (front & back) this morning.... thinking I will set them at 2.1 so I'll still have a slight bit of rake.

Guess I outta post pics of my truck since I started this thread, been away for awhile. Did the bils at 2.8 in front with mevotech CA's , and 1" TGC spacer in rear and love it!

That looks about perfect in my opinion.
