truck looks sick with those tires. ordered the same thing today they had the nitto ridge grapplers 35x12.5x20 on sale for 327 with free shipping. I'm only set at 2.1 though with 1in rear spacer hope they don't rub. how do you like the tires

So far, I love the choice. This is the third set of nittos I've had on 3 different trucks and these are just as quiet as the Terra Grapplers. I will say that I think they need a bit more rebalancing but I am extremely pleased with how well they ride. I used a shop here close to the stadium and they did a great job all around. I don't have the time to do the work myself and I think forming a good working relationship with the shop is key to making a satisfied customer. I'll go back in a few months and have them so the lift and other accessories without hesitation.

I've got a 2016 Ram 1500 SXT

She's levelled on Bilstein 5100's set to Max height (2.8")

Running:
Falken Wild Peak MT's 35/12.5/17
Mounted on:
Black Rhino Sidewinders 17/9 w/ a 0 Offset

No rub what so ever!

Even if those were the the adjustable 5100s , which those are not , the rear end does not get 5100s , the rear end has a separate coil and shock . The shocks are different. The ones in your link look like the rears .

The 5100s are adjustable shocks for the front end only . They go inside the coils and have a large fork on the bottom and do not get boots on the top .

The Bilsteins adjustable 5100s are adjustable to :

1) stock setting on the lowest ring
2) +.07" next ring and so on
3) + 1.4"
4) + 2.1"
5) + 2.8"

To raise the rear you need taller coil springs or coil spring spacers .

Advice = if you raise the rear end more than + 1.5" you will need taller shocks to keep from topping them out while going over speed bumps or while 4wheeling.

Hope this helps !

Thanks for the input guys. I called 4 wheel parts knowing what parts I needed. The ones in the link were not correct for the front, but the rears were. I ordered all four 5100s for $338. Debating between 1.4 and 2.1 when they come in. Will the rears stiffen it up from stock enough to where I can set the front to 2.1 and still have a rake with payload?

Got mine set on 2.8 w/ 20x10 -24 offset on 35" tires for now

Any rubbing with 20x10s? I was told by the wheel place that leveled trucks would have severe rubbing with such an aggressive offset. It would hit the the bumper and fender. He said I'd have to lifted 4-6" for it to fit. He said the leveled trucks need 0 offsets or smaller.

Depends on the pay load .
If internal to the cab (passenger's ) you'd be fine with a little rake .
Payload in the bed I'd say if less than 400 lbs you'd either be level or slight rake .
If on the hitch I'd say about 200 lbs of tounge wt . or less you'd be level or slight rake as well at 2.1".

You could go + 2.8" on the bils and add a 1" to 1.5" spacer to the rear and have the same basic results as above and be able to install 35" tires without any rub .

I've had my bils @ +2.8" for over 20,000 miles with plenty of 4wheeling and no issues .

Hope this helps !

Can anyone share pics of CV angles at 2.1 vs 2.8? Thanks

That's one of my last deciding factors, CV wear. I know it's a given that you will increase the wear, but curious how much worse 2.8 is vs 2.1.

Just got mine installed. Set at 2.8 (highest setting). Rides great. No clunks or vibrations.

Bilsteins installed ---help!!!

Just purchased front set of Bilsteins 5100 to level that God awful factory rake, (6100 miles) for my 15' Ram 1500 Crew Tradesmen.... Paid a tire shop $160 to have them installed and aligned. After the test drive they (Point S Tire Factory) mentioned that the rear end seems loose, won't hook up, misaligned or something.... They wrote all the info down so I could take it to dealer....my question is, what could this mean? I check my VIN for recalls but nothing...any ideas before the stealer-ship tries to deny my claim?

The rear end has nothing to do with the Bilstein install so the dealership can't dent any warranty work on the rear. BTW - $160 installed and aligned is a hell of a deal. My alignment alone was $89. Good luck with the rear end. Hopefully it's something easily fixed.
