Just put bilsteins in the front set at 2.1 on my truck this weekend. Looks pretty close to level to me. Happy with the results. In the market for new tires hopefully before winter. Not sure on the size as they are 20s.73b1cef8d05ccd074b7cc53e2ef00929.jpg

I have a 2016 1500 sport, and I want to run 35x12.5 on my stock 20's.
Can I do this using bils set at 2.8 in the front and spacers in the rear?

I have bils set at 2.1 up front. But there is something "odd" about my truck. It was from Canada. I don't remember the exact number off hand but I do recall my truck prior to bilsteins measured out slightly taller than other factory rams. It currently has factory 275/60/r20's It is a SPORT model BUT had the TRX4 bed graphics on it and the build sheet had alot of HD suspension components aswell. as far as I could tell it was a sport with a dealer installed trx4 package maybe?.

Anyhow, I have seen alot of people saying you can run 35's on the factory wheels. some say they needed to run a hub spacer, some say they didnt. I am not looking to go with M/T's with heavy side lugs. Looking to go with an A/T most likely. Also looked into 275/65r20's and 285/65r20's.

Anyone have any input on tires that will work with my factory wheels (eventually upgrading wheels but not in the cards at the moment) and with my bils at 2.1?.

I don't have a definitive answer for you, but from what I've researched you can fit a 285/65r20 on stock rims with a 2.1 lift with no rub which is why I just picked up my new set of 285/65r20 Ko2's last week, I just have to wait for my bilsteins to get here before i put em on.

My Bils are at 2.8" and I've got a 1.5" Zone body lift. 35x12.5x20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers.

Bils at 2.1 and 275/65/20. I like the look tires are a lil skinny for the truck but the wider the tire the more likely I am to hydroplane. With all the damn flooding the last couple years I'll take it. The first pic is stock. that.ebe29603b30d7b9e3e35b8d9121487c4.jpg8b82309bb3a2a0092252bf481869db8f.jpg5f23d70b8d190a6931f10a87a8cbb25f.jpg

Alright I wouldn't normally ask but I'm kinda stuck here. I'm getting bilsteins installed and I can't decide what height to go at. I see all the pictures of everyone trucks. I'm looking to keep 1" of rake. I'm going to lift the front and the back. Is it worth it to go 2.8 over 2.1? When my goodyears wear out I'm switching to 18x9 -12 Mickey Thompson rims with a 35x12 Toyo at2 and down the road swapping up to a zone 4" lift. If I go 2.8 I have to get ucas if I stay 2.1 I've been told they aren't required. If I go 2.8 I'll get the icon 1.5" rear springs. If I go 2.1 I'll get a 1" spacer. Factory measurements to render are
Driver front 36.75
Driver rear 39
Passenger front 36.75
Passenger rear 39.25

Since your planning on a 4" kit in the future imo just install the bils @ + 2.8 " and put 1.5" TGC rear coil spacers on for now , this setup will retain 1" rake for your measurements.
As far as the uca concern ...if your not doing rough 4 wheeling your oem uca should serve you just fine , if you 4x4 regular & ROUGH & BOUNCY then for peace of mind install the mevotecs uca from rock auto OR just set the bils to + 2.1 " and install a 1" rear TGC spacer to the back .

Here's a link to my bils install with some VERY helpful tidbits imo , also within this link there's a link to my TGC spacers install as well .

Hope this helps !

Thanks man. Zero rubbing so far even in and out of driveways etc.

Only had the set-up about a week so maybe something will rub eventually?

Wheels are Hostile Alpha H109 20x10 with a -19 offset. Tires are 35x12.5".
