Wow that looks great! Online the method NV doesn't look good imo. But seeing them on your truck just changed my mind!

Thanks. I was really considering something not as popular like the Method Con 6, but the NVs just look right on the Ram.

Or at a minimum read thru my install post , as it has a few tid bits and a couple pointers that may help on your install .....my post may also help you understand what your shop does incorrectly...if you choose to pay someone to do this for you ...

Hope this helps you Sir .

So I have bils ready to order soon but why are guys upgrading their uca's? I've seen both stock and mevotech/zone. Just for extra reassurance I'm assuming?

It's been mentioned many times ....if your truck is a pavement only 4x4. Then don't worry about upgrading your ucas , if you 4x4 often then upgrade them...imo .

I off-road often and sometimes pretty rough , that's why I upgraded my 2014. Ucas

Peace of mind. The OEM ones seem to be designed only for stock height in the front. Many companies are noticing this and making UCA’s for increased front end height. Seems to keep the cv angles from getting too much out of place, too.

Petty sure I'm going to go with Wrangler DuraTrac - Size: LT35X12.5R20 studded for my winter tires.

I love my Duratracs, but I have noticed that they're heavy as hell, I think there about 50-65 lbs per tire. My Mpg has dropped with the same size as I had with terra grappler, but much more traction, MUCH more.

My tire guy has them and agrees with you on traction. I'll use them for winter only.

I've read this thread a couple times all the way through and didn't see why people upgraded their ucas. Do the stock ones snap and break easier when you're off-roading?
Thinking about these as well for a piece of mind. I don't off-road often but when I do its out on the middle of now where. Better safe than sorry.
RLK your detailed thread has helped sort a lot of my questions and figure out what I want. Thanks!

Glad I could help .

In 2013 the UCA design changed and the ball joint is weaker and is more prone to separate while under heavy loads . This issue is mainly when folks go cheep for a lift or level with front spacers .
Many have had zero issues out of the OEM ucas ...
