Thanks for the advice bro! I will definitely be watching that cause I don't feel like having to do it over a couple times lol anymore advice or suggestions??
As far as the badges go, tape off about an inch away from the badges and spray the whole box. Make sure you get alot of dip on there but over many coats. Like paint, too thick of a coat and it runs, but its harder to correct without removing it and redoing it all. First coat is very thin and you just want to put a light dusting on it. The other coats you should apply thicker and even. I usually do coats like this: 1 dust, 4 from all four sides (only do one angle at a time, coating the whole badge from that angle), and 1 or 2 coats straight on.
The biggest thing with this is to make sure you apply the dip thick enough to peel outside of the badges, on the truck. Once its all dried you can peel the tape and masking off. Peel the extra dip off and youll have your dipped badge.
If the dip is too thick at the edges of the badge, it could connect the dip from the badge to the dip on the truck, which would all come off when you peel. Right after the last coat take a look around the badge and if you see a spot run a toothpick or razor through it.
