I got tired of seeing my truck covered in dirt from my tires so I decided to get the bushwacker pocket flares and I'm going to get them color match, however I'm not to sold on the chrome bolts. Does anyone have black flares with black bolts or maybe even a gun metal color?

This is what my truck currently looks like.

Paint them! There is not much to it. Just use a good quality black spray paint. Degrease>self-etch primer>good quality black enamel. Done!

I would try to find a black anodized bolt instead
Unless you sandblast the head the paint will not adhere to the bolt head
You would also have to install and paint the whole flare as the paint wouldn't hold up to fastening after

I'm sure you can find them somewhere, or even try to have the silver bolts powder coated and be gentle installing them

I'm planning on having them powder coated. Since they aren't function I don't have to tighten them to much so I'll be gentle and loctite them in place. I'd love to see pictures if anyone has it done!

I was in a bit of a rush so the picture isn't great but here is how the "bolts" came out. I get the flares tomorrow and should have them on by Saturday afternoon.

Nice. I had mine powder coated as well, and they've held up fine for the past year or so.

Yeah, I'd like to see them installed too.

Sorry guys I had an issue with the paint on one of them so they are repainting it. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow and I plan to put them on Friday.

Finally got them on, they look good but I wish the front tires had an extra half inch of offset.
