I just did these and with 2 busted manifold bolts needing extraction, I paid $900 for installation. I went 1 3/4 but did go with high flow cats. It was in the shop for 1.5 days.

Why 7/8's? Are you planning additional engine mods?

I plan to get my truck dyno'd but I don't have a baseline before adding my ARH LT's and single exhaust. That said, qualitatively, it is DRAMATIC. Through the entire power band, the truck is more responsive. But the power obtained from the headers is additive: I already had a custom tune, a ported TB, a performance exhaust, a CAI, and 4.56 gears. The ARH LTs were my my latest mod and I estimate at 10-15% increase in performance, based solely on responsiveness. I said it elsewhere, it just "feels" like I have another gear to move into, no matter where I am at current speed.

Do you plan on getting a new torque converter? I always hear great things about them.

I see this posted all the time. Did any one person do a dyno comparison between the 1 3/4 and 1 7/8? Same truck, same dyno and same weather and temp i.e. DA???? Seat of pants feel just doesnt cut it for me.

Old school stuff, its been proven, bigger cam & ported heads or more cubic inches or need less torque on bottom end & more on top = larger primary tubes.
