truck specs:
99 4x4 ram 1500 w/5.9 engine
9.25 chrysler rear end w/ 3.92 g-ratio

issue:
rear has blown

General questions:
is 3.92 g-ratio and 31's a suitable match.
will a 94 ram 3500 VAN rear with 3.9 work with my truck?
and are the suspension parts in the following pics something i would be interested in for light trailing/mudding and seeing as i live in the snowy north?

what are these?

are these shocks something i should be interested in?

this is a pic of the tag that was on this front shock
DSC_0083_zps75cb5c5b.jpg"]DSC_0083_zps75cb5c5b.jpg

and this is the shock the tag was attached to
DSC_0081_zpsbf479a34.jpg"]DSC_0081_zpsbf479a34.jpg

and this shock was going across the front of the truck. I imagine i would need this too...correct?

I believe those are called control arms or something like that (someone fix it if i'm wrong) and I wouldn't be interested in used shocks (unless ur just referring to the model of shock) personally, don't always know how much life is left in them plus you can get OEM quality for not very much from somewhere like Oreillys

Edit: Shock across front is a steering stabilizer, not really a shock as it doesn't spring back instead it reduces vibration, can run without one but that is not recommended

First off, welcome to RF! Rather uncommon truck you have in that you have a 99 Sport in....SOLAR YELLOW. I like that color. :D

Anyway, the rear from a 94 Ram Van will not work. You will need a rear diff from a 98 and newer truck preferably with 3.92 gears if that's what you had in both axles. Otherwise you'll have to pull the front driveshaft to be able to drive it as the axles are spinning at different speeds.

Secondly, Skyjacker shockers are "eh" by a lot of folks. Control arms and their accessories might not be a bad little upgrade if it's not too much work getting them out.

And don't buy used shocks. lol Might be able to use that steering stabilizer you found there though. Those don't wear out as quick as shocks do. (I've got my stocker from 98 on my truck)

In your first pix those are upper and lower Skyjacker control arms for a 5" lift, if you have plans to go taller grab them along with the red brackets on the diff. Are the red coil springs there as well if so grab them, plus the drop pit-man arm if it's still there. The rest is junk not worth it in my op.

That is right they are only of use if you lift the truck. I would grab them and if you do not use them then sell them. I would ask $150 for all of it.

Make sure you grab those long bump stops and coils too.
I mean, if you're going to take the lift, take it!

I may be interested in the lift if the price and ship is right :) I have a '00 single cab short bed and have run 33/12.5/15s with only slight rub on full left lock... however I also desperately need an alignment so that may have been my rubbing issue. hope this helps. Also i have 250k on the original suspension including shocks so they are probably sagging slightly ;)
