Automatic Trans Shifting Issue

I have a 06 1/2 ton crew cab with a 5.7 hemi. It has 82k miles and for the most part it runs like a top. Here lately though i have been feeling the transmission down shift and up shift while running a steady speed. My fear is that it is ruining my transmission.

what could it be and how do i fix before it causes huge probs???
