Back up camera install 2016 - what color wires from trailer wiring

Hey guys,
I am trying to install an aftermarket backup camera in my 2016 Tradesman. I was surprised that it was pre-wired to the tailgate handle, but didn't buy the tailgate handle camera. I have the license plate camera that I am installing. What color wires do I need to tap into on the trailer wiring harness to make the camera turn on when in reverse? The kit came with a red wire and a black wire.

The easy way to tap the reverse for your truck, buy yourself the Curt 56584

It plugs in behind the bumper and gives you a 5 flat trailer plug, the 5th wire is reverse

The wire colors might not be the same but it shows which one is reverse(car side).
You can also use this for a tailgate light bar if your going to get one of those.
