Got my Bayou Goat Mount today in the mail. I'd have to say, so far I'm pretty impressed. Easy install (2 screws) and it looks clean. I'm not a huge fan of the suction cup mounts that attach to the windshield. For some reason, they never stay attached for me. If anyone is in the market for a phone (or GPS, radar detector, etc.) mount, I'd check these guys out.

Yes good mounts. I could never get the adjustable version tightened up enough to remove play between the disk and bracket. So the device attached wobbles quite a bit.

This is the version where you can slide the disks along the mounting bracket and fix them in place with a set screw. I hear the non adjustable versions are solid.

That's what I was worried about with the adjustable one so I went with the solid mount. The cell phone holder is adjustable enough so I figured I wouldn't need to adjust the mount itself. Highly recommended.

I have the adjustable one and the left mount had a little wobble but I went retard tight on the screw and got rid of 99.9% of the wobble and I can live with that.

You should drill some holes and run those wires inside the dash...

If I did not move those items between vehicles, I would.

Love my mount. One of the first things I added to the truck.

The Bayou Goat Mount was just what I was needing. Thank you for posting. I made a small modification to use it with the Lido mount for my ham radio.

It is a great mount.:favorites13:

I love my dual one also. Couldn't be a better place to mount stuff.

I just have a gel suction cup style one mounted to the plastic to the left of that little indent. Holds on really strongly and has never come loose for years, even in the florida heat.
