Best mileage with 37's

With 37's I would go with 4.56 gears. I have that set up and I can get 13 to 14 mpg, have already got higher then that if I keep my foot off the gas and use cruise control with highway driving.

But for the most part, I average 13 to 14 with mine.

I think you'll be very happy with 4.88s. Around town I always wished I had gone with 4.88's m'self. The Hemi seems to be far 'happier' at the higher RPMs, so it should keep you in the sweet spot.

There is a lot of truth in this statement. You can roll into the throttle far slower with better gears. I love it. I had 4.10s in my '92 Dakota with 26" Tires. What a BEAST! Smoke the hell out of both rears EASY.:roflsquared:

Hahahhaha i did one burnout with my 33's and my gf crawled my ass!!!! I was surprised with myself that I only did one lol. I'll have to do just one to prove I can ;). You know as much as I.... Rubber ain't cheap!!!

If i pull the cover off my rear end, how do i tell what gears i have?? With average speed of 70-75 on hwy i averaged 16mpg with 37s.

Count Teeth, it's a real SOB. Quite hard to do accurately too.
Unless they've been upgraded there should be a stamped steel tag on the diff with ratio.
