Are they installed using 3M tape? I thought the tailgate has actual mounting points.

Theyre both tape, the tailgate badge just perls off, the front one you take the grill out and unclip 4 tabs to remove oem badge

Is there any published info on how well the Duplicolor can handle underhood temperatures? I looked on their web site and didn't see anything.

Nothing on the can, but I think I'm ok.
Years ago my Dakota RT had an embossed ram head in the hood liner which I painted bright yellow with acrylic brush paint and it was never affected by heat.

Picked a set of 4 of these anchor tie downs from an old friend for $10. I might use them once or twice a year but sure handy when you do need them.

Similar ones on my truck. Occasionally I tie something down on top of the tonneau like a mattress and jugs of def across the case that holds the tonneau when it rolls open. Not frequently used, but super handy when you need them so worth the small money for them.

We hauled a new mattress the other day and I couldn’t get at the bed hooks on one side. Really wished I had these then.

Too dark to take any pics but just installed these tonight. Once they’re in tight, you can grab one and shake the truck. Pretty impressed for what I’ll use them for and really maybe only 3-4 times a year
