Looking for a little advise, have a '17 Big Horn with the chrome bumpers. Looking for advise on how to color match the bumpers to the rest of the truck. Looking for something that can take a beating through a northern climate winter and look no worse for the wear.

Ive considered mine, but at work on a Silverado, we took them to my buddies paint shop, he sanded them, used epoxy primer and painted them gloss black to match truck. Looked like OEM.

I have been thinking about getting mine wrapped but haven’t looked into pricing yet.

Was either going to line X or take them off for a powder coat job.

Color matched paint looks great though.

I had mine wrapped a few months ago with 3M 1080 Gloss Black Metallic that matches the Brilliant Black paint pretty much dead on., $220 for each bumper. That included painting the parking sensors. front side view.jpg

That looks awesome! I am definitely going to look into wrapping mine in the spring, thanks for sharing.

bought an aftermarket bumper. 250$ if I remember right... painting chrome is a pain.. if done right you have to remove the chrome which costs more than buying a new bumper

a DA sander and spray it with epoxy primer. Don't really need to remove the chrome per 'se. But a wrap sure makes $$ sense.
Looks good johnts

I had my sidesteps wrapped also. They cost $250 to wrap.. They are a matte finish wrap made by Avery.

Awesome, going to look into the wrap. My concern is I don' think I'm rocking Brilliant Black....I have a little sparkle to my black which is annoying as hell!

Graygoose, how much of a lift is on your truck?
