my brother had a spring compressor

Did you guys just use one of those cheap ones that you tighten with an impact or what was it?

I snapped my cheap one and then had several places tell me they could only do car springs...

Ah right i thought it was necessary to ad a rear spacer... So if you have the bilsteins in the front at 2.1 you still have rake (wich i want) and can run 35 inch tires right?

You should be able to, do you have the 4x4?

Yes Sir... 4x4

Tnx Chaney

You should be set with the bilsteins in the front set at 2.1 then the rear at max. The 4x4's are a little higher stock than the 2x4 I believe and to the best of my knowledge, people are able to fit the 35's on the ram with just a leveling kit

Correct!
But with th correct offset wheel.
20x9, 0/+1 offset works without rubbing or VERY minimal. Most likely no rubbing.
Anything else will rub

Yes I have seen this done and looked great. Setup was 2.1" front Bilstein with a .75" rear spacer to keep rake. The rear spacer isn't mandatory, but preferred:

stock difference is ~ 2.5" so raising the front 2.1" nearly eliminates that...then the .75" rear spacer keeps back tires from looking stuffed in there and overall you basically cut the stock rake in half for a great look with 35" tire...stock rim works I believe. (initially the front is 2.5" lower than rear, +2.1" front brings you to .4" lower front...then lifting the rear .75" brings you to 1.15" lower front so the initial 2.5" rake is ~ cut in half...great look seemingly from the factory once it's all done and should still ride GREAT...would be nice if there was a progressive spring available at .75" lift...but all the ones I have seen are 2-2.25" and that's too high with 2.1" front and I don't want to max it out at 2.8" personally)

Here are some photos I have saved of 2" front and .75-1" rear (spacer) lift/level with 35" tires...so, not the Bilstein set to 2.1" but this is the look of that much level/lift at least...

Specifically, the white one is 2" front spacer and .75" rear from TGC on 35s and the blue is 295/65/20 tires under 2" front and 1" rear spacers.

After about 2 months of "research" I plan to order a 2013 CC 4x4 Sport A8 soon and do the Bilstein 5100 set to 2.1" and use a .75" rear TGC rear coil spacer, and run 35" Toyo ATs as I feel the white truck here looks awesome. A little rake left for tow/haul purposes...tires don't look stuffed but the lift is reasonable also and not "too high" like 4-6" would be for my personal use and likes...

I am sure that this has already been answered somewhere on the forum but I am going to ask anyhow. I have a 2013 1500 4x4. I have purchased a pair of bilstein 5100 which I plan on setting at 2.1 and .75 inch spacers from top gunz customs for the rear. Here is my question, I have the 17 inch 5 star factory wheels, which I really like. Would it be possible for me to run something like a 315/70/17 or something like that on these wheels or do I need to swap to 20's?
