I have the urge to raise my truck more lol.

I have mine set at the 1.3 setting and they ride great and the truck looks damn near perfect to me.

I have been thinking of going up 2 notches to the 2" setting and doing a 3/4" spacer out back with Tufftrck 1223V springs.

I am semi tempted to got to 2.4" with a 1" spacer, but I am worried about the added preload/ride quality.

Anyone running these at the 2" - 2.4" settings?
If yes, how is the ride / control arms looking

I’m currently running my 6112 at 2.1 with 5100 and Icon springs in the rear. I’m still running the stock size tire but looking at going to a 275/65/20 but damn they are $$. Id like to know as well if anyone is running at the full 2.8 with the 6112’s to see what kind of ride they have.

When I was at 8" of lift I had my 6112's set at max and my truck rode great.

Since the 5100 front struts reuse your OE springs, and different trucks have different OE springs based on their configuration, the lift height settings on the 5100 struts are consistent.

But the 6112's replace the springs with a generic one size fits all spring, so there are different lift positions for different builds.

You can go 2" and the difference in ride shouldn't change much if any. 6112's are valved differently from 5100's so don't be afraid to go to the max with those. they'll prob work their best one notch before max though. I don't think any strut or coilover will work its best maxed out on height though with the last you (if you have valving adjusters) or your tuner can get creative with the low speed rebound valving/high speed compression so the feeling of running more preload and max height is not noticeable. Most CO's manufactures will recommend to have at least 2.2.5" at full droop and they're valved to better control your shaft cycling up/down in different ways. When you're running max preload your tires want to droop faster and if you don't have much shaft left you'll prob feel as the shock max out on extension. If you have 2.5-3" left at full droop you're probably right where your struts will work their best. the more the merrier though but then we wouldn't look cool with a lowered front :)

Have fun.

I went with setting #5 which on the regular cab column it specs 2.4"

I love my 6112s and the ride is great! I can usually drive rough terrain pretty fast and it feels controlled and great ride. I've actually started to drive faster on uneven terrain because of the 6112s feeling better the faster I go.

I came from Rancho quicklifts and did not care for them.

You basically have the set up I am leaning g towards lift wise.

How do you like the icon rear springs and do you haul/tow at all?

They ride good un loaded?

Curious about how much they squat tilm the 75% better load rating.

Well better late than never responding about your icon rear spring question, between the pros and cons I don't think there are any cons, with my Bilstein set at 2.1 I still have a little bit of rake since adding the icon springs. And I have been tempted to readjust the height on the 6112 to try and level it a bit more maybe to the 2.4 setting.

I did tow a small 19 foot trailer and it help when towing. but if you are not towing anything could be a waste of money. The ride is just a little bit stiffer in the rear but nothing extraordinary but mildly noticeable.

CO-Ram- so at 2.1 on 6112 with stock rear I would be nose high?
I have the 6112 on the way, didn't want to mess with the rear. Not sure to go 1.9 or 2.1
Wanting to run a 275-65-20 on stock 20 inch rims (2022 laramie no ORP)

This is an old thread, CO-RAM hasn't been online in over a year.

I did for about 30 minutes. CV angles were garbage.

Thank you
i'm at 2.8 setting on the 6112s, zone upper arms, and 3/4 spacer in the rear with 5160s shock.

the ride is awesome, so much better than stock.

i'm running 275/60/20s bfg ko2.

so far i've had no issues with my cv axles up front.

Thanks for the response, do not want to raise the back if I dont have to
275/65/20 tire is what I am shooting for, seems to be possible with 2 inch level in front

i was running 275/60/20s without the lift, no rubbing, no issues. i know the 65s will be a hair bigger, but shouldnt need a lift.

Yes sorry for the very long delay, running the 6112's in the front set at 2.1 with the stock rear spring I was pretty much level.
Im also runnning Toyo Open Country A/T III 275/65R20 so added 1 inch or so of ride hight (Still have rake from the icon rear springs) But rides great and just spent a week in Ouray, CO and had no issues with any of the trailes. I dont do the extream rock trails are are really only for Jeeps.

Also I want to give some input on tires, thought I love the BFG’s they are a very heavy tire and because I uses my truck for a daily driver I wanted to try an keep the best gas milage I can with still having an aggressive looking A/T tire The Toyo 275/60R20 are a bit heaver than the crappy stock tire my milage did not make a noticeable change. So when looking at tires look at the stock weight tire and compare it to the weight of the tire you want on it. The heaver the tire the lower mpg you will get. Just something my friend at 4WheelParts had me consider when buying my Toyos

Nope you would have a perfect stance very if even noticable front rake, I love the way mine looked (not that I hate it now with the Icon springs) when I had stock rear springs. IMO Id liek ot go back to stock rear springs but not going to **** away the $$ spent on the Icons The photo I just put up was from oct In Ouray, Co
