Haha I know. But these already have 13k on em since I've had the truck and I figure I may as well wear them out first.Looks good, now it's time for some tires that actually look like they belong on a truck.

Went there and they offered me 100 for all 4. Not worth it to me.Pull them off and sell them for a couple hundred bucks on craigslist. Discount tire actually bought my old tires from me this last time.
Yeah I mean I don't need them more than seeing guys here having them haha me and off road doesn't happen as much as I'd think it would. Once I actually need tires I'll put proper ones on. The rake bothered me more than the tires do.my wife thinks I should do the same. I just hit 17K on the truck with the stock SRAs
Haha dont quit! Yeah I set at 2.1, and I am glad I did, my truck didnt seem to need to be at 2.8 for a level and would have ended up nose high then I would have needed to add rear spacers and one project was all I wanted right now. UCA's, 2.8 and rear spacer could be on the horizon in the future, but I feel no itch for it like I did just for a level.Read about 12 pages of this thread, then figured, ENUFF!
I had my Son-in-Law install my Billsteins about 3years ago and 50K miles. set to 2.1. I also had him install Mevotech UCA's. $100 and he was in there anyways.
While he was at it, added tuftruck Springs to the rears. Could not be happier.
I could have and seriously thought about just going 2.1 adn not worrying about UCA;s. then I thought, for a $100 why not have the option of goign to 2.8. Most of my research showed that even at 2.8, the problems were rare BUT rare does not mean NONE. 2.1 I only read on guy who had issues and that was rare enogh I did not worry about it.
again, I would not change a thing that I had done and could not be happier. truck rides great, handles loaded well and goes where I want, confidently.
Bills are terrific. woudl nto hesitate to go 2.1 on stock UCA's TUfTRuck springs are what teh truck should have came with, form the factory.

My arm was twistedI didn't worry about tires, either... until I had to. I ended up getting 50k out of the stock tires. I went with Discount Tire to get an A/T that they offer. Ended up sticking with the stock size, due to being in a crunch at the moment. Even then, they look larger than the road tires just due to the tread pattern and the way the tire sits. I'm happy with what I went with.
What tuftruck spring did you use?
Also has anyone used the bilsteins 6112 im thinking of using those for the fronts.
Thanks! I think so too. Although they havent scratched my mod itch but dumping that much cash into tires has surely hurt my truck spending money hahathose new tires totally made the truck
