Black plastic interior scuffs

On my 2018 I have noticed the black plastic panels on the dash and center console scuff real easily, like it's way too soft. Fingernails can even scuff it up, and once they are there they are there for good. Anyone else experience this? On my 2009 1500 I don't recall this being an issue.

Yes I have noticed the same thing on my 2014 and it's annoying. The back parts of the door panels are the same way.

Sure..This is all from a plastic clip used to cinch my sons diaper bag closed.

Yup, been that way ever since the 2009's came out. Not sure why they used such a soft plastic. I have now had 3 4th gen Rams and every one of them did the same thing. Have to be really careful with stuff put inside.

My 09 had the lighter gray interior. Maybe that's why I didn't notice it since it had the same soft plastic

Yeah, I think the dark color doesn't help.
