My 2004 ram was not pushing a/c so I removed the door completely and never replaced it. Everything seems to be working fine.. Both heat and AC. Is it recommended that the door still be replaced? Also, if the recirc door is removed as well, what negative affects will it have? That door seems to be making noise when I turn defrost on only...

Thanks!

I removed my recirc door and haven't had any ill effects. The heat still blows hot and the a/c still blows cold. As for the blend door, if everything is working fine I'd leave it alone. BTW, if you remove that recirc door don't destroy the underside of the dash like some posts state. I removed the three screws from the blower and pulled it out that way. Took only a few minutes to do.
