As the title says, my blower motor will stay running when I turn the ignition off and does not run when the engine is running. I can wiggle the key a bit and get it to turn on when engine is running and turn off when engine is off and key is off.

I swapped out the control panel and it had the same behavior.

Is this ignition switch or something else?

Thanks.

If you have to wiggle the key to start & stop the Blower Motor
That would indicate that either the ignition wiring or the switch is bad

Remove the upper and lower steering column shrouds to gain access to the ignition switch. Inspect the #10 Pink and #10 green wires going in to the switch to make sure that they are not burned. If they are intact then you need to replace the ignition switch.
