I've decided that instead of spending 1K on a matching rear off road bumper, I'm just going to Bullet Line my current one. Local shop quoted me $175, wich I feel is an excellent deal. I'm going to remove it myself and drop it off to them, then re install once complete. There's another ram in my neighborhood that did his chrome, but the sprayed the whole thing step pad and all. My plan was to remove the step pad and re install after the liner is on. To the guys that have line x'd their bumpers which route did you take? And if you removed the step pad, did you have any issues with fitment when you put it back on? Thanks

Or, would I be better off vinyl wrapping it? I have my work truck wrapped, and it doesnt seem to hold up the greatest. I'll take opinions of those that have vinyl wrapped their bumpers as well. Curios about longevity.

With $170 you can do your bumpers ... and other areas like your bed if you already don't have it sprayed with bed liner ...

Looks pretty good man. Might have to look into that. Did you remove the step pad on rear bumper or spray over the top of it?

Thanks for all the feedback and advice! Couldn't have done this without all of your help. Went with the Bullet Liner. The vinyl wrap shops didn't really have anything promising to say about wrapping chrome. Looks way better than the heavily oxidized chrome. Turn around was 2 days. Cost me $140

I took everything apart before I dropped it off at the shop. So, the step cover did not get sprayed.
