Hey guys,
Im looking to buy new wheels an tires for my 2010 Dodge Ram 1500. I just have the truck leveled with the Belistein Leveleing kit turned all the way up. I was looking to go with 9" wide wheels in 17". Was wondering if anybody knows if I can do that. Also, how does the backspacing an offset work. I want the tires to stick out as I am going to run flares on the truck an want it to look good. Also can I run 33" tires then without any rubbing issues? Thanks a lot for your help. Also pics of trucks with black wheels are greatly appricated.

Level and - offset you can run up to 35's... 33's will clear on stock setup.
You want it to stick out? -12, or -24 will be nice... 9in wheels are usually -12 though.

Check out my build.... bils maxed, black wheels, 33in stock tires, and -12 offset.

Great plan, it will look proper with 17's. I doubt you could get 33's and 9 wide to rub if you tried, you may even want to go a little bigger. How is it riding with your level? Are you going MT or AT?

I dont wanna jump up in wheel size so thats why i am sticking with 17s. I like the look of 17s with bigger rubber on them. Truck rides awesome with the level on it. Didnt notice any difference in ride quality after I installed it. Im looking to go mt tires as I hunt a lot so I am off the road a lot. I just dont want them sticking out crazy far.

You have a good plan. MT's really look stout even with 33's and since you are going to use them, you have a good plan. You wont have any issues. Pics when ur done.

I have 20x9 with a -12 offset, it looks sick. They stick out about an inch or so. I plan on running 35's, once you go with 35x1250 I think they will stick out further due to the wider tire, pretty much anything between -6 and -24 I don't think you'd have any rubbing issues.

I still think 34's look the best on a level. Just the right amount of wheel well space for a leveled truck IMO.
