Has anyone had good luck with the cheaper LED light bars and small pod lights like the ones on Amazon?

I found this brand and seems all the reviews are pretty good.

Northpole Light
4.4 out of 5 stars 138Reviews
LED Light Bar, Northpole Light 20" 126W Waterproof CREE Spot Flood Combo LED Light Bar with 2PCS 18W CREE Flood LED Work Lights and 12V 40A Wiring Harness for Off Road,Jeep, Truck, Car, ATV, SUV

Its $50 for the 3 lights, just dont want to spend 50 bucks to have half the lights go out in acouple months..lol
I know they might not have the best light out put but I am not to worried about that since they are cheap I expected that.

Allready ordered the mounting brackets to mount them to my ladder rack light bar I made for my camper shell .

Just going for something around 20" for the main bar with 2 pods.
I want to do the 20" in the middle with a pod on each side that I can turn to the side some.
I am going to mount 2 pods on the back as well so I can put them on a switch and light up behind my truck as well.

We bought some cheapie bars and cube lights for gigging. I took a couple of the extra cubes that were about $5 a pop and installed them as reverse lights a few months ago. Work great and no issues yet.

I installed them with disconnect pairs on the wiring. That way if they go bad and I need to replace with something better, it will be a plug and play replacement. It will be a gamble on wether they will serve their intended purpose.

I have an auxbeam 30" curved on my bullbar. Had it on for about 8 months so far so good. Really bright, my only grip is I wish the spot section of the beams were more focused. But for a $90 dollar light ya can't beat it

Exactly why we picked them up. They are not the best/brightest on the market but for someone looking for an inexpensive light bar they are hard to beat for the money. They are our bang for your buck light bars. Next step up from there is KC. KC is the middle of the road in price between china bars and brands like Rigid but perform very well! then there is Rigid, Vision-X, Baja Designs, etc...these cost more but outperform just about everything else

I've been a Rigid guy for a long time. Buy once, cry once.

If this was something that would be used all the time I would spend the big bucks, but for me so long the lights stay lit I will be happy.
I just wont use them enough to pony up. Now maybe the 2 I put on the back I will use alot more.

Rigid is one of my favorites for sure. The price is tough to swallow but it will out perform and out last just about everything on the market

Yes... I use mine daily. We have big-ass deer up here (moose). Never been a moose-car collision where the car won.

I just purchased a Diode Dynamic light Bar. Read quite a bit on how these work. Used primarily on Rally Cars. The inventor is a rally driver.
$200 for an 18” bar. I will hopefully install it today. The YouTube video convinced me. It actually outperformed Rigid in throw.

Looks good with a good difference in light output.
I ended up going to round lights instead of a bar.
