Chrome Shifter Bezel / Center Console Trim Ring

Ran across this late last week and immediately bought it - arrived yesterday - installed in seconds...if you would like my old chrome BEZEL TRIM RING you will have to go dumpster diving at my office...

I know the ad says 09-12 but my RAM is a 2014 and it fits perfect...

FYI - This genuine MOPAR part came from Allen Samuels Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fort Worth: New & Used Car Dealer ...but the part number listed in the ad is for the chrome ring...

$70 is a bit steep. I have some leftover cans of plasti-dip that I'm going to use to take care of mine.

I hated the chrome, i was always blinded by the sun glare. haha I just plastidiped mine.

It comes off super easy, grab 2 corners at a time and firmly pull up.

It's even easier if you have a set of trim tools (the plastic ones can be had for next to nothing on Amazon)

$70 US is too steep for me lol, that close to $90 CAD! I'd rather just plasti dip it or something. It only bothers me sometimes around 2 pm lol. Most times I don't drive then

5 bucks worth of Anthracite Plasti Dip did the trick on mine. If it gets a scratch, peel it off and do it again. You could do this 15 times before you hit the $70 mark.

Not sure how well paint over the chrome holds up. But when I used to build model cars, you can set the chrome pieces in break fluid and it will strip the chrome. Then repaint as needed.

From what I hear it just pops right off. I'm just going to sand the chrome off mine! Someone on here has done that and it turned out great!
