Cooldown tick when runnung?

i have a 1994 with a 5.2 and when its running it makes the ticking noises like every car does when its cooling down after driving, except it does it when its running, I don't know if I should be worried or not and what to do.

My truck will do that after I've run it on the highway. I think the exhaust gets hot, and starts cooling even though its still running at idle. I've never worried about it.
