Cooling Fan relay

Hello,
I have been issues with the P0481 cooing Dan circuit low/high. Pulled out the relay (between rad and grill) and she most pretty green/rusted. Dumb spot to put it! Anyways can any relay take its place or does it have to be condenser fan relay for our trucks? Sounds dumb I know, but I tried looking on the Mopar website and no luck. Anyone have a link to this part or a relay that will work?

Not every relay is designed the same from pin out orientation to internal function. Some relays will have the circuit diagram printed on the casing but even with that, signal voltage and load voltage all have to match.

IMO, replace it with whats in your autoparts store system. They already have it all figured out and sometimes have more than one brands at different prices.

Well ive hit a wall. I pulled the part number straight from my own relay and all the mopar websites are saying it dosent fit my own truck, yet there it is, operating like normal.

The part number is 04671886aa

Heres the alldata screen shot

Yeah it’s the relay between the rad and the grill, right behind the horns, mounted with the horns. On my 2011 anyways. I’ll have to call to the Mopar parts, however if it not listed on the website (Canada) they don’t have it. That’s what I was told by them at allmoparparts.ca out of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

Were you finding relay.

Ebay got one for 30 oem

May call dealer tomorrow

So got relay from dealer. Put in

Rest code.

Fan comes on. 1 time then off and through check engine light again

Now what.

More info. If. I reset code and turn on ac.

Fan runs for 10 seconds or so and shuts off then code appaers.

I wonder if it could be the other relay in fuse box

I’m not sure and I still can’t find the relay I’m looking for. Engine cooling fan relay/ ac condenser relay or whatever. Checked moparparts, nothing listed. My relay is all covered in rust lol. Needs to be changed.
