Cup holders

I jave a 2013 ram cc and hate those fold down cup holders in the centre. I have the bench seat up front. Anybody have any alternative cup holders without swapping to the full centre console?

I installed one of these several months ago, haven't opened the factory cup holders since. It doesn't quite look factory but what it lacks in appearance it more than makes up in utility.

In my opinion that bin is useless. Just another place for dirt to collect

I think I have a small container of gum in that bin but I haven't looked down there in a few months, pretty useless.

I should mention that I had to shim the lock mechanism which required disassembling the armrest lid. It came with the shims and the instructions were pretty easy to follow so it wasn't a big deal. It also comes with a screw that you put through the cupholder and into the interior of your armrest compartment. It's hidden and the hole would barely be noticeable if you removed the cupholder but figured I'd mention it so no one was surprised.

I had one of these on my 2003 for a long time and on my 2001 before it. Then we started using that center seat a lot so I removed it. It was extremely nice to have. The little bin was useful for small trash (gum wrappers, balled up receipts, etc); swipe it out with two fingers to collect it all and chuck it out when you get home. Over the years, the holder did leave two round marks on my center seat where it rubbed, though. Just something to be aware of. Maybe if you sandwich something something like an ADC map book between the seat and the console to give it a little clearance.
