dont really have a reason, just reckoned theyd work better in the small amount of air space

well i support your choice for the P3, but not the shallows lol. I just mounted my dual 10" P3's (regular depth) today. they fit with less than 1/4 to spare. plenty of airspace too in my custom fiberglass box. i measured it using packing peanuts... including the area the sub takes up, there is .65 cu ft per box. the subs call for .5-.75 so im right in the ideal window

lol sorry if it makes you feel any better i finished the install today, but having serious problems trying to get it all to work right. i took my time wiring everything up to avoid these problems, but apparently i wasnt careful enough. lots of troubleshooting in front of me...

i had dirty dog help me with all the wiring, i guess he had too since i bought his amp. theyre dual voice coil right? whats your plan on wiring them, i think i wired them in at four ohms.

Mine are 2ohm subs wired for a 4ohm load on the amp

Love it, just wish I had the cash for a bigger amp. I used to have 2 12's in a ported box in the back of a Jeep Cherokee, and I shouldn't compare to that but I am, so I need some more bass.

im runnin the Fosgate 500.1 to each of my 10's. They are 350rms @ 4ohm

I want a T500.1 really bad b/c I can bridge it down to 1 ohm and get 1000 watts peak out of it which is peak for the sub. Just can't swing it right now.

I was going to pound out the fox today for ya - let you hear what a single 10 in his vented box sounds like (off of a measly 420W).
