was looking into buying a electric cutout.
wanted to see which one you would suggest.
i have 2 1/2inch pipes.
one that is welded on, easy wiring and wont rust out. not sure if different brands will sound different.
rather buy from you and wanted to see which one you thought is better.
and a price on it?

thanks

No offense but the raceland cutout is cheaper.

Obviously welding the cutout in is the best option but does anybody have it just clamped? I saw a couple youtube videos of guys that just cut and clamped these in.

Yeah, mine is clamped. I got the cutout in, walked out to the truck with the sawzall (famous last words), cut 13" out of the exhaust, popped the cutout in and clamped it in (band clamps). Ran the wiring.........all done in less than an hour.

That is awesome! as you know i was gonna throw a FM40 on my truck but I think I have a new plan....Put one of these on and when Im feeling like i wanna wake the dead hit the switch but when I am on the Highway I can have the quiet stock exhaust :) (MDS wont be as much of an issue then at least until I can work on getting a tuner maybe) I would prob still delete the last resonator while I am down there tho.

measured it multiple times and its gotta be 3. Looked at some other threads and went to multiple muffler websites that say its a 3"in 3"out. If someone wants to confirm please do lol

I measured the Circumference and it came out to 9.5. 9.5"/3.14=3.025" so I think i am good :)
