Def in fuel

Was filling def before a trip and it overflowed most ran to the ground but a tiny bit landed on the flapper of the fuel tank o got a towl and soaked it out without pushing on flapper should I be worried ? Would any go in if flapper was not pushed ?

There's a second flap in the filler neck, there's also drain holes in between the flaps. You push the flapper in and make sure between is dry and clean.
You definitely don't want to fool around with DEF in the fuel as it is highly corrosive
