I have the 4.7 as well. She does fine. I have the tow package on my truck which helps a lot.

So a couple of things added and that will be added to the truck recently.

First, I bought a 54 led amber and white flashing kit off of ebay. I have already installed those, 4 in the front windshield and 2 in the back. Figured they might come in handy for work or life related stuff. I'll get a pic and video soon.

Second, I bought a cheap version of the Oracle color change halos with a remote. Figured I'd try them and see how i liked them.

Third, I snagged a reese universal gooseneck hitch off of a truck at work. I'm going to put it in my truck for when I need it. The hitch is rated for up to 25,000 lbs. Just a tad above my weight limit but it'll be useful. We have several gooseneck trailers at work that I can pull. I probably can't overload the trailer but I can make it work.

Fourth, I have a trailer brake controller to put in the truck. I already have the 4 pin to 7 way adapter but I need to hook up the last three wires for the power, reverse, and electric brakes. I can move these bigger trailers but stopping is the only issue. I like the front end on my truck and plan to keep it. :roflsquared:

Are theses for your headlights?

It's not about if it will pull the trailer, but more along the lines of the stress it'll put on your 1/2 ton suspension.

Yes the halos are. I'll have to pull them apart again. Lol

Yeah I won't use the hitch everyday but if I need to I can.

It's a reese controller. I will just have to buy the adapter and it will plug in.

Cool, I was going to say that if you didn't know about the OEM plug under the dash it's way easier than having to run wires everywhere.

Yeah I do. I still have to run a power wire and the brake wire from the front of the truck to the back but I've done that too many times to count already. Lol

Best pics I could get in the daytime. Pretty bright. They do all kinds of stuff. There is a little box controller that came with them. I kind of want to order more. Lol
