Nvm I appreciate it, I found a different bar with better warranty and it's a 52", just bought the mounts. You are correct in the fact that once you get one, you'll be getting more. I put a 12" on the front bumper originally planning to put it between the tow hooks, but since I have the sport bumper it's to tall so I mounted it to the license plate.
You going all the way black or matching the paint? The progress so far...

Definitely looks better... looks just like mine when I had a ratchet strap around mine. Those Gen 3 lights take up the whole oven don't they? Headlights on our trucks once changed whether it be going to black or chrome and even the color keyed ones make a huge difference in looks. How they sit currently.

Lookin' good, much better than chrome...More pics.

Just noticed this morning that our year model makes it easy for bracket alignment since there are already screws from the factory that make the front of the bracket sit flush with the top of the windshield.I bought my brackets off of eBay from a company called jc kustoms out of Texas. The cree light bar came from california, also off of ebay.
The brackets are placed behind the weather stripping on the door frame. They sent self tapping screws to mount the brackets but I just don't trust those. I took my headliner out a little bit and put bolts through two of the brackets holes. A total pain in the ass to do but worth it. There are tiny screws that hold the weather stripping in place. I took one out on each side and used the hole for reference for lining it up. I drilled bigger holes and put the bolts through. I self tapped the ground on the side and ran a wire through to hook up. Not hard just tedious.

Yeah, I'm going to put some on the inside of the bracket where it meets the body to help with metal to metal rubbing. Where exactly are saying to put the stripping on the door? I'm also going o run some black RTV along the bottom heat sink fins a couple inches on both sides. My final mounting will be some blind fasteners from HD.Yeah those screws help tremendously. Make sure you put bolts through it. I wouldn't trust self tapping screws at all. I would hate to have the bar fly off while running down the highway. Also, make sure you put weather stripping from autozone on the inside of each door. If you don't the wind noise will be unbearable I promise. Lol

Ah, I see... does the bracket push your factory weather stripping out far enough to make wind noise? I would think that once the door is closed that it presses the weather seal together.Okay, all of those are good ideas. I edited my last post to put a picture of the weather stripping on the drivers door. It was only $20 at autozone for plenty for both sides to be cut evenly.
