Not sure about the 3", but I haven't noticed a difference at all with my 1.5" lift.

No difference with my 3". It won't affect it at all because it isn't adjusting your suspension at all. It is just lifting the body of the truck up.

That's what I figured. A buddy of mine used to work at a dealership and now he has opened up a small shop of his own. He is gonna put mine on. This morning he told me he put a body lift on a GM for a guy and said it made it ride rough. Thought I'd ask.

If it made the ride rough, maybe there is a body mount bolt (or a few) loose and allows the cab to shake. Also, not sure if it affects the steering shaft enough to cause problems.

*** As stated above, a body lift should NOT affect the ride ***

I bet the guy installed larger, stiffer sidewalled tires after the lift and that is what made his truck ride "rough".

I'm sure it's already been thought of but just to add on, the body lift won't or at least shouldn't change your ride, but it will change how you add things like grill mounted bars or large engine components. Adapters may be required if you have future modding plans.

Edit: Sorry, I realized you were asking for someone else. This INFO may be common for some, and not so common for others so disregard.

Yeah, I've heard it can affect your future mods. Never say never, but beyond the body lift ,rims n tires, not really planning on much more than that. I would do a suspension lift, but not interested in altering the drive line and I won't take my $50K machine offroad..haha
