Whats Your thoughts & opinions on this set up?

I was looking into the Anderson but now I am scratching my head!
I like the simplicity of this set up!

Do it, this guy tried the Anderson and didn’t like it. I have a couple friends who have this and they love it.

All I'm seeing is a video set up in the video.

With a 5th you have to consider the forces on the trailer.

Dexter: I understand that 100%.

I’m sure there will be follow up videos on his new setup.
He is pretty **** & thorough.
Kinda sad: But I sit & watch his videos all the time.

Need to see a few reviews before & after!

I honestly don’t have any need nor desire to tote around a bulky 200lb hitch if there is NO need.
Be that as it may it’s alot less weight to tow & more room in the bed
Also we will not be towing cross country or over/through any mountain passes.
Our range will be from 53-258 miles.

Right now the Reese Goose box is at the top of my list.

One of my top priorities was the Ram 5th wheel prep package $495 option - Compared to the $1100 the local shop was requesting to install their turn over ball system & virtually butcher my new bed.

Actually (In my eyes) it’s a no brainer but every owner has their own thoughts / Opinions.

I would really like to look into a thin / tall (Chrome) or Aluminum 15-20 gallon auxiliary (gravity feed) diesel tank to fit up snug against the front of the bed. (Another Project)
The Goose Box would allow more room for this to happen.

Am I the only one when I disconnect my trailer I raise it just enough that it rubs when I pull out. So when I go back under it it rubs again and I can tell when it’s on. Woah reading that back that sounds dirty :happy175:

No, that’s how everyone I know has a 5th Wheels does it.

I'd be interested to see his set up. Pls post it when he has it.

As to space in the bed - you may not pick up that much because you still need clearance for turns.

You may want to go to www.irv2.com and ask people about goose necks for 5ths.

I full time in a RV and have not seen one.

Going to be looking hard @ this system as well!

The extra height makes perfect sense.
