A LOC is a line output converter. You tap into speaker wires and then it converts to RCA.

You will need something that provides remote turn on for your amp. Unless you tap into a fuse. 4 ga wire is probably fine. 0 ga no doubt. What amp are you running? that will help to know what you need.

Most people use the LC2i/4i family of LOCs for adding subs, https://www.crutchfield.com/p_161LC2IB/AudioControl-LC2iB-Black.html You need somewhere in the Range of 4 Gauge to be around 1200w, but I'd recommend and go 1/0 Gauge just to give some overhead.

Crutchfield has a handy chart for calculating amperage draw, with 1200w RMS you'd be around 175A at full load.

The fox box is amazing. If you're planning on that much power to your subs, you better do the rest of your system or you'll never make it sound very good. It's not going to blend well at all
