Okay, so I have a 6 in lift on my 2014. The last week or two I noticed a popping sound when turning the wheels to the right. It happens when backing up and then again when turning to the left.

Tonight I crawled under the truck and noticed the where the sway bar connects it looked crooked and the bolt seemed to be rubbing too. No clue what the parts are called, so bare with me.

I'm pretty sure this is the cause, but what's the solution to even everything out the way it should be?

that end link is shot. you may need to look into aftermarket endlinks

That should not be bent like that at all.

what does the other side look like ?

Just talked to rough country and they think the dealership installed the wrong links. Gonna order the correct ones.

Not exactly sure, so you should confirm this with Rough Country, but I think that the sway bar links with the bends in them are for the rear end, and the straight ones are for the front. This is probably why they are looking so tweaked and mis-aligned.

Also, you should re torque the entire kit to make sure everything is tight.

Funny you mention this. I have a rough country 6" being installed on my 3rd gen as we speak. My sway bar links are bent like that out of the box but on the instructions packet, they're pictured as straight links.

You should get 4 sway bar links with the kit, 2 fronts, and 2 rears. Last I knew the front were straight, the rears had bends in them. Sounds like one of you should call Rough Country.

@shocking14u I asked them the same thing on the phone today and they couldn't give me a straight answer. One guy said they were bent and the other guy didn't know. I was thinking the were installed on the wrong ends.

I just had a 4" RCX kit installed yesterday and both front and back links have a bend in them. I can see how that bend could possibly look unnatural if maybe it's rotated 90-180 degrees though. For the 4" kit I don't think its possible to mix up front v. back because the back ones are much longer.

I went up to the 4x4 super store here in town and they said they go on the front, but they might need to be flipped.
