Well i got a 6in lift right now on my truck, im currently running 35's 315/65/16's. The tires on it are gettin to be somewhat bald. I can make it through spring, (maybe) but i was wondering if its a good idea to downsize to 33's. Yes you guys cant see how my truck looks right now, but it can clear 37's but i figured i dont need such big tires, and 33's would be alot cheaper haha. The concern here is im afraid if i go and buy 33's im gonna screw somthing up cause the truck is "supported" by 35's. Either that or its going to look ridiculous. Any help?

You should be fine running 33s, apart from your tires looking small.

I went to discount tire, and he looked at my truck, and said it would look fine if i ran 285/75/17 wich is 32.7 so really a 33in tire. After gettin quoted $1,875 for goodyear duratrach's and some wheels i sure hope it looks fine. I think its going to look dorky. I really dont want it to though. 35's are too big for me, and i would be looking at more $$$.

This might help you. Back then 33's and 5" lift. I didn't mind the look at all.
