Let us know how they perform in the rain. I am curious how your truck performs under adverse weather conditions with the caltracs.

I'll check it out but rain here only happens a few times a year and my tires are good in the rain as it is.

To wake up a old thread how are the caltracs treating yah? I have my 4.56 and DTT going in soon and just put on my 2/4 drop so now I need to toughin up my rear end. You had it to the track yet?

Yep, a few weeks ago in fact. nice straight laungches, no wheel hop, still spinning though but with a lot more control. Not affraid of goiing sideways when pushing the gas to the floor.

From what I recall, there are only a couple slapper bars that work semi decently if you are going for a cheaper alternative. They wont be as good but they will help. Personally though, after looking at the slapper bars and pricing them out I decided to just save the extra amount and do it right the first time.

Slappers work almost the same as just clamping the rear. Its like taking small steps till the cals get tossed on. Best thing would be to just save up and do the cals on the first round.

I think they would be middle of the road between clamps and caltracs.

I have heard that the Assasins are suppose to be pretty good too if not better than caltracs but they dont make them for rams yet
