Never know when you're going to need them. It was a relatively inexpensive mod. I put them on a separate toggle switch to match the rest of the toggles I have under the steering wheel.

Very nice...how about a switch in the bed?...wouldn't be relatively easy?

I could have put on in the bed, sure. I wanted all my lighting controls to be in the cab anyway. That's why I mounted it in he cab.

Bull bar and center caps installed:

Love the build man, I had a couple questions for you about the bull bar. Did you have to remove the tow hooks and did the body lift effect the location of the cross bars relative to the truck? I keep going back and forth between this bar and a full bumper replacement but since I use the truck on the property I want to keep my front hooks.

Sorry I haven't been on in a few days. My truck did not come with tow hooks. The body lift did affect the bar height. The brackets hang down a little lower as well as the bar itself. But the install is still relatively simple.

Gotcha, I didn't think about it hanging down below the existing bumper. I probably should go with a bumper replacement so I can improve my approach angle. Looks great tho, thanks!

Broke out the plasti-dip again and did my horn emblem. I'm going to try to find some of the same "red inserts" for this emblem to match my front and back ones.

Today, I installed my 3157 Switchback LED's from RetroShop. I couldn't be any happier with how they turned out. Everything matches completely now as far as all LED lighting as well as all of it being white LED. And let me just give a shout out to Jeremy for his quick responses via e-mail as well as answering his phone when I had a quick question today. AWESOME customer service! :D Here's a couple of pics and a YouTube link to see them in action:

Hey Adam, truck looking incredible BTW. You and I have the Sam year, 2012, which of course preceded the factory use of led bulbs. When you did your LEDs, did you have to use the ubiquitous 50 watt 6ohm resisters, either pre wired or self wired? I have to think you did, but I've been wrong before.

Hey Adam, another question; how did you get the tape to stick on your steering wheel, and did you frame the standard "box" around the emblem? Btw, I'll post pics of all my dipped emblems later today; they came out great. In your opinion, should I post in members trucks, exterior, or photos & videos? Chris
Never mind; I realized that after I mask off the rest of the wheel, the horn ring is black vinyl anyway. Here's that pic

And while I'm at it, here are pics of the emblems when I got done

Which LED's are you talking about? Are you meaning my "switchback" turn signals? If so, RetroShop provides everything you need for them including the resistors. They are pre-wired but you need to splice them in.

I think you did a good job but you need to get a toothpick and remove the access in the ''0" and the "R" and "A" of RAM. You can post this under "Exterior" and "Photos & Videos".

I'm jealous on the bed lighting. I've been talking about that for nearly a year and still haven't done it. We bought a house back in October and that's where my time goes. My poor truck is so neglected right now, lol.

The lighting in the bed looks great though. :waytogo:

Thanks, Cruizer!! I hear ya on that one... Congrats on your house, though! The lighting was relatively inexpensive. Everything I got for it was under $100 and it took me about 3 hours from start to finish to get everything done.
