So, I read somewhere else in a different forum that you can tell which generation truck you have by the lugnuts, i.e 4th Generation = 5 lugs, 5th Generation = 6 lugs. Is that accurate? Mine is listed as a 2024 but has 5 lugs. Just curious if it really even matters!

Which Year did they quit installing tailgate handles & locks ?

In 1994, Dodge Ram changed over to using 9/16th " Lug Studs.
Before that, they used 1/2 "

When I bought my new 5th Gen I figured I could just swap the wheels and tires over from my 2020 4th gen (which I had recently put sweet new custom wheels on and new tires). Nope!

Must be a difference with the classic. I just picked up a 2024 Limited and it has 6. Even though you have a 2024, the classic is a carry over from Gen 4.
